Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to our website, enquiry and enrolment process, and participation in our training programmes, workshops, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our website, submitting an application, paying fees, or attending our programmes, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Eligibility and enrolment
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you enrol on behalf of a company or another person, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity or individual. Admission to a specific batch or programme is subject to seat availability, payment of applicable fees, and completion of any reasonable verification we require.
2. Programme descriptions and changes
We strive to describe our courses accurately on our website and in brochures or proposals. Curriculum topics, tools taught, project formats, faculty or mentor assignments, batch schedules, and venue or online delivery format may be updated to reflect industry changes, tool updates, or operational requirements. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material schedule or format changes to enrolled students in advance.
3. Fees, payments, and taxes
Course fees are as quoted at the time of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unless stated otherwise, fees are in Indian Rupees (INR). You authorise us and our payment partners to charge the agreed amounts using the payment method you provide. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank charges, or currency conversion fees imposed by third parties. Failed or reversed payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.
4. Payment processing
Online payments may be processed by regulated payment service providers (for example, Razorpay). Your use of payment services is also subject to the provider’s terms and privacy policy. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any payment gateway.
5. Intellectual property
All materials we provide—including slides, recordings where offered, assignments, templates, brand assets, and software access instructions—are licensed for your personal learning use in connection with the enrolled programme, unless we grant broader rights in writing. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly broadcast, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written consent. You retain ownership of your own original work you create during the programme; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised or attributed excerpts for educational, portfolio, or marketing purposes only where you have given separate consent or where use is clearly part of a published showcase agreement.
6. Conduct and acceptable use
You agree to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow learners; follow reasonable classroom or online session rules; not harass, discriminate, or endanger others; not record sessions without permission where recording is restricted; not share access credentials for paid platforms we provide; and not introduce malware or attempt unauthorised access to our systems. We may remove disruptive participants or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches.
7. Attendance, assignments, and certification
Completion certificates or statements of participation, where offered, depend on meeting attendance thresholds, assignment requirements, and fee payment as specified for that programme. Certificates are not a guarantee of employment or third-party accreditation unless explicitly stated in writing for a specific offering.
8. Placement and career assistance
Any career support, referrals, interview practice, or employer introductions are assistance services only. Hiring decisions rest with employers. We do not guarantee job offers, salary levels, or timelines.
9. Third-party tools and websites
We may use or recommend third-party software, AI tools, advertising platforms, or websites. Your use of those services is governed by the respective third parties. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or data practices of third-party platforms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us for the specific programme giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digi Carotene Academy and its trainers and staff from claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of materials, infringement of third-party rights, or unlawful conduct.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, internet or power failures, strikes, or failures of third-party platforms.
13. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For material changes affecting enrolled students, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice.
